Superior Rooms
Choose one king or two double beds and enjoy your casual, oversized- tropical guest room. Complete with air-conditioning, a built-in walk-in closet with safe, iron and ironing board and a dressing and vanity area with a hair-dryer, you won't want for a thing. Armoires with cable television and Bose Wave Radio provide 31 satellite channels of commercial-free music and a direct-dial, touch-tone telephone with voice-mail and dataport add to the elegance. Decorated in stylish Caribbean elegance Luxury Rooms boast all of the amenities of a Superior Room plus rich mahogany furniture, fine fabrics in soft tones and a cozy integrated seating area. Glass doors lead to a private terrace with enchanting views, and louvered mahogany sliding panels offer privacy whenever desired. At night drift off to sleep on a heavenly Serta pillow-top comfort mattress and in the mornings enjoy a marble-topped vanity area, with lighted make-up mirror and a luxury bath amenities package.
Luxury Suites
Located on the second floor, Luxury Suites include all the features of a Luxury Room plus ... a romantic canopy bed , separate living room with dining area, queen sofa-sleeper, two bathrooms including an extravagant master-bath with marble tile, large whirlpool tub and a separate shower. A Luxury Suite may be expanded to include a connecting Luxury Room with two double beds for an additional charge
Villas
Tropical two and three bedroom villas are especially well suited for families and friends to share in the luxuries of time and space. Each villa features a living room, dining room, full kitchen and a family area. While behind closed doors, guests enjoy the privacy of air-conditioned bedrooms, each equipped with a phone, cable television, large closet and a beautiful private bath. A maid is at your beck and call for eight hours a day to prepare a delightful breakfast for you and keep your “home away from home” tidy, and remember that a touring cart is included to explore the lush playground that is Casa de Campo
EXCEL VILLAS
Vacationing in an EXCEL Club villa is nothing if not a taste of the high life. Your pampering begins when you arrive at the Casa de Campo/La Romana International Airport (code: LRM) and receive private airport transfers. You will be then be taken directly to your villa for your V.I.P. check-in where a selection of fresh fruits, a Dominican Bar and a welcome assortment of snacks and treats awaits for the whole family. And don't forget that when you wake up in the morning, breakfast will be made by your very own villa maid and served by your butler! Enjoy a .... refreshing drink and let the EXCEL Club Concierge do the rest to make all of your dining and sports reservations. 19th Hole: The luxury of choice is the concept of the 19th Hole. Build your own sandwich down to the last detail and then enjoy. This snack bar faces the famous Teeth of the Dog course and is the perfect place to stop and recharge after a day driving, chipping and putting in the sun. Visit the Golf Pro Shop right next door
Café del Sol: Overlooking the famous Dye Fore golf course, dine in the heart of the Altos de Chavón. Though everything is delicious, the brick-oven pizzas and ice creams are the specialties of the house. Nearby, Saint Stanislaus Church provides a backdrop of alluring Gregorian music that renders this a dining experience, not just a meal.
Chinois: In the Plaza Portofino, find the crème-de-la-crème of the marina. Featuring pan-Asian flavors, sample Cantonese, Japanese sushi and other dishes. As you eat, be warmed by the vibrant décor of waterfalls, rich colors and five-star service.
Lago Grill : With a natural casual ambiance, Lago Grill is the place at Casa de Campo for delicious and quick buffet-style breakfasts and lunches. Overlooking the Teeth of the Dog golf course and a wide water view of the Caribbean Sea, Lago Grill will wake you up with Caribbean delights including fresh juice cocktails and tropical fruit selections, made-to-order omelets, homemade breads and fresh pancakes. For lunch enjoy the made-to-order pasta buffet, flavorful Dominican dishes and a huge salad bar. Melt into the moment at this lush, flowered, open-air eatery. Sunday brunch highlights typical Dominican criolla tastes.
El Pescador: Mix it up with Mediterranean flavors prepared with an International flair. A light menu with the perfect beach side bites including fresh salads, grilled vegetables and variety of meats and seafood are perfectly complimented by the stunning view of Minitas Beach.
La Piazzetta: The feel of Venice, Napoli or Milan is inescapable at La Piazzetta. Boasting an astounding antipasto bar, made-from-scratch pasta and outstanding food cooked to perfection, sink into the romance of Casa de Campo. Nightly live music with strolling Italian minstrels and an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere complete a night to be remembered.
El Sombrero: Festive, inviting and complete with a mariachi guitar trio, have your favorite traditional Mexican meal with a frozen Margarita of your choice. If you're dining with children, visit the unofficial mascot of Altos de Chavón, a donkey named Margarito for a ride around Altos.
Tropicana GRILL: Located in the hotel's main area, the Tropicana Grill restaurant serves up the highest quality filet mignon, churrasco and other meats with pure perfection. Enjoy the open-air architecture and be sure to ask your server to recommend one of over 100 wines to complete the night's flavors. Live piano music plays nightly and champagne is available.
Upper Deck: Cool off in the shade of the Upper Deck and delight in poolside service of cold, refreshing drinks and light fare. From Thursday to Saturday of each week, diners can take in an art shows exhibiting a wide variety of international styles and local colures.
